Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Brainstorm, a native macOS application. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Brainstorm on your Macs. Brainstorm is currently in beta and free to use. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or remove notices from the app.

Beta

• Brainstorm is in early access, offered free while we polish the launch.
• Beta software may change, break, or lose data; keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
• Features and availability may change before and after launch.

Acceptable use

Use Brainstorm lawfully. Do not attempt to break, overload, or abuse the service, and do not use it to create or store unlawful content.

Your content

You own everything you create. Your notebooks stay on your device; see the Privacy Policy for how the limited account and billing data are handled.

Disclaimer and liability

Brainstorm is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. The on-device math solver and transcription can be wrong - verify anything important. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
